| Inner Eastern Melbourne Division of General Practice services primarily the City of Boroondara in Melbournes leafy eastern suburbs, as well as small areas of the Cities of Manningham and Whitehorse in Melbourne's eastern suburbs. The area has high socio-economic status and is renown for the quality of its housing, gardens and streetscapes.
The number of older persons is one of the highest in the State. Some 40 000 students, attending some of Melbourne's best known private and public schools or Swinburne University also visit the municipality each day.
