| Whitehorse Division of General Practice remains focused on providing recognisable benefits to its members, GPs in the cities of Whitehorse, Manningham and Maroondah. These benefits will include support for GPs as they work to improve the health of their respective communities and support for the GPs in their professional development dealing with their own health issues. The Division provides support for practices.
Practices are being assisted with accreditation requirements, Information technology training and practice nurse supports. Stakeholders of the Division include Commonwealth Department of Health and Aged Care, as well as other local government, community health, State and regional health services, district nursing services, non-government organizations, specialist supports, hospitals, residential care agencies, public and private medical specialists, pharmacists, and many more.
The Division represents GPs in the local community, and members of the Division staff work tirelessly with other health care agencies to ensure that the health system provides properly integrated care to all patients. |
