New Chief Executive for Northern Sydney Central Coast Area Health Service
The Director-General of Health, Professor Debora Picone today announced the appointment of a new Chief Executive for the Northern Sydney Central Coast Area Health Service (NSCCAHS).
Professor Picone said the new Chief Executive, Mr Matthew Daly, would take up the position by the end of September.
"I wish to congratulate Matthew on his appointment and know that his experience in the NSW health system and his ability as a senior manager will be invaluable in his new role," Professor Picone said.
"Matthew is currently the Acting Chief Executive of South Eastern Sydney Illawarra Area Health Service. He has an extensive background in health administration managing hospitals including Concord and Canterbury.
"Matthew has also been the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the former South Western Sydney Area Health Service and Director of Clinical Operations at South Eastern Sydney Illawarra Area Health Service."
The Director-General said Mr Daly had previously worked in the Northern Sydney area in management roles at Manly and Mona Vale Hospitals.
"Matthew's knowledge and experience will be invaluable in continuing the work undertaken at Northern Sydney Central Coast in recent months by the Acting Chief Executive Terry Clout," Professor Picone said.
Mr Clout has been appointed Chief Executive of the South Eastern Sydney Illawarra Area Health Service.
